The holiday season may be here, but we’ve got our eyes set on the future! The new year is just around the corner, so the time is now to start making those boating travel plans. Before you do, however, we’ve rounded up our top three travel predictions for 2026.
Travel Predictions for 2026
More leisure time on the water
We are going to predict that 2026 will bring us all more leisure time on the water. From chartered tours to boat rentals to hauling your own watercraft to a lake destination of choice, we predict that you’ll spend more, not less, time on the water. So grab your gear, load up your family and friends, and head out for quality boating time well spent. Just don’t forget to bring BoatLIFE® product with you, wherever you go!
The more obscure and off-grid, the better
We are predicting that 2026 will offer us ample opportunities to explore lakes and waterways less traveled. For inspiration of where to go off the grid, check out our top three best lakes for winter boating, or our recap of last year’s North American destinations featured in the New York Times’ 52 Places to Go. Last but not least, our wish list for winter boating is always a good place to start!
