Boat Cleaning
A clean boat is a happy one, which is why our all-purpose Boat Cleaner is the ideal choice. Gentle on gel coat surfaces but tough enough to wash away dirt, grease, and grime, a little Boat Cleaner in a bucket with fresh water and a sponge are all you need! The formula is environmentally friendly so it won’t cause damage to the marine life or aquatic habitat. Plus, it’s a cinch to wash off! Simply rinse with fresh or salt water and you’re done!
Tougher stains that require more elbow grease will require a product like our Fiberglass Powder Cleaner & Stain Remover. Simply sprinkle on, scrub with a scrub brush and water until the stains lift and wash off with fresh water. Your surfaces will look sparkly clean! For boat interiors, your upholstery and vinyl will get a refresh with our VinyLIFE Vinyl Cleaner & Protectant. Simply spray on, wipe, and allow to air dry. Our Aluminum Cleaner brightens, polishes, and protects any aluminum – from hulls to hardware – and is a low micron cleaner that prevents oxidation. If you find any mildew lingering, wash it away with our Mildew Remover. Chlorine-free and acid-free, simply spray on the mildewy surface and wipe away.
Boat Detailing
Your newly cleaned boat will require a proper waxing to finish and maintain that luster to keep your fiberglass boat’s gel coat happy and protected. Try a high-quality wax like our pure Carnauba LifeWax®, and pair it with our PolyShine® Premium Fiberglass & Composite Polish. When used together, the wax is guaranteed to last up to three years! Also, fiberglass boats will benefit from the long-lasting UV protection that is built in.
Boat Repairs
The time is now to seal up any weak spots with a trusted boat sealant. We have the best in the business, and a wide variety to choose from that work for bonding various substrates together. Our signature Life-Calk® polysulfide sealant cures to a waterproof seal and can be used above or below the waterline. The product will adhere to wood, fiberglass, glass, and metal without hardening. Permanently flexible once cured, Life-Calk can be sanded and painted over. Our other boat sealant Life Seal® offers a permanently flexible seal and can be used above or below the water line. The unique blend of polyurethane and silicone works well with fiberglass, metal, glass, and wood. Check out our handy sealant chart to discover which sealant is best for the job at hand. Our Marine Silicone Rubber Sealant is a good all-purpose marine-grade silicone sealant. Non-corrosive, acid-free and non-yellowing, the product won’t corrode metals or electronics, plus it has a neutral cure. For more information on neutral cures, read our blog post, The Importance of Neutral Curing when Choosing a Boat Sealant.
Last but not least, repair any dry rot with our famous “Git”-Rot® wood rot repair epoxy. This two-part liquid epoxy restores wood fibers to their original strength by penetrating the rotted fibers and hardening like wood. Sandable, paintable, and drillable, this revolutionary product allows for the repair of rotted transoms, floors, hulls, and more. It can also be screwed into with metal screws.
