Life Industries Corporation, parent company to BoatLIFE, RVbyLIFE, and AeroLIFE Industries, recently received an award of excellence from the South Carolina Manufacturing Extension Partnership (SCEMP). Presented at the virtual Manufacturing Excellence Awards ceremony last October which end-capped the 2020 S.C. Manufacturing Conference and Expo, the South Carolina Manufacturing Excellence Award was one of several given at the ceremony. To kick off the online festivities, Grady Johnson, president of SC Biz News, and Matt Brewer, president of Choate Construction, emceed.
Life Industries Received Award of Excellence
One of eleven South Carolina manufacturers presented with the COVID-19 Response Award. The award acknowledges Life Industries for the production of its multipurpose Benzalkonium Chloride (BZK) based Sanitizer for Hands and Surfaces. Realizing the need for PPE, the company ramped up its production of its sanitizer at the onset of the pandemic. To date, it has produced thousands of bottles of Sanitizer to meet civilian, healthcare, and essential worker demands.
