Charleston Welcomes Largest Container Ship

CMA CGM Brazil ship

Charleston welcomed the CMA CGM Brazil, the largest container ship to dock on the East Coast, in late September 2020. The massive vessel spans 1,204 feet, roughly the equivalent of eight Statues of Liberty or two Washington Monuments laid horizontally. To top that off, it is carrying over 15,000 steel cargo containers.
